Trinidad James’ real name is Nicholaus Joseph Williams. He was born on September 23, 1987. He and his family moved to Canada and Florida before settling in The Bronx, New York. He had his primary education in a Catholic school in Trinidad. In the beginning, he felt awkward talking to the native Americans due to his Trinidad accent, but then things cooled down with his witty jokes.

In December 2012, it was announced that Trinidad James had signed with Def Jam Records for approx. $2 Million. After getting signed, he re-released his debut mixtape, and this time it included the remix to “All Gold Everything,” featuring 2 Chainz, T.I., Young Jeezy.
On August 6, 2013, he announced that he would say we are releasing his second mixtape which was titled 10 PC Mild on 13th August. But then after not releasing any new music for many months, Def Jam released Trinidad James from their label on August 1, 2014.
On 31st December 2016, he released a mixtape “The Wake Up 2” on streaming services such as Spotify and to mixtape websites.
