Saif Ali Khan completed his schooling from The Lawrence School, Sanawar and Lockers Park School in Hertfordshire. He did his graduation from Winchester College. After completing his graduation, he came back to India and started his career by working for an advertisement first for two months in Delhi.

He made his Bollywood debut with the film named Parampara which was released in 1993 but was unsuccessful.  He later played the successful roles in the movie named Yeh Dillagi and Main Khiladi Tu Anari released in 1994. In both of the movies, he was starred with Akshay Kumar.
