Biography
Ronnie spent his childhood in Los Angeles, where he was raised by his mother ,Tina Turner, a famous singer, and his father Ike Turner who was a musician, who died in December 2007.
Ronnie has five siblings named Ike Turner Jr, Linda Trippeter, Mia Turner, Michael Turner, and Twanna Turner Melby – his older brother, Raymond Craig Turner committed suicide by shooting himself in 2018.
Relationship
Ronnie married his long-term girlfriend Afida on 4 March 2007 – Afida is of French descent, and is a reality TV star and a singer. She was constantly in bad relations with Ronnie’s mother Tina, as she accused her of not helping her son by lending him money when he was in a bad financial situation.
In June 2017, Ronnie and Afida announced their plans for getting a divorce but eventually reconciled and are now living together in their home in Los Angeles, California – they do not have any children together.
Career
Motivated by his parents’ talents, Ronnie decided to pursue a career in music, and enrolled at a music school where he learned how to play various instruments.
This ability made it possible for Ronnie to arrange music and combine sounds, and after Tina and Ike divorced in 1978, he started playing the bass guitar in his mother’s band, later switching to play in his father’s band.
He made his debut appearance on TV screens in the “What’s Love Got To Do With It” movie in 1993, which follows the story of his mother Tina’s marriage to Ike, who was both mentally and physically abusing her – after breaking free from her marriage, Tina became a worldwide popular singer.
Ronnie continued his acting career and in the upcoming years played only small roles in a number of Hollywood films. In 1999, he continued his career as a musician when he began playing bass guitar for the Black Angel (ex The Prophets) Los Angeles band.
