Ricard Fliehr, better known as Ric Flair, was born on the 25th of February 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Flair was adopted, and shortly after the adoption, the family settled in Edina, Minnesota where young Flair lived throughout his childhood. He attended Wayland Academy during which time he participated in track, football, and wrestling.

His first wife was Leslie Goodman. The pair gave birth to a girl named Megan and a boy David. In 12 years, they got divorced.

Soon after, the man tied the knot with Elizabeth Harrell. They have also two children named Reid and Flair. In 2006, they split up.

The third spouse of Ric is Tiffany VanDemark. In a couple of years, the woman filed for divorce. The fourth partner is Jacqueline Beems.

They had been married from 2009 to 2014. In 2004, Ric became a grandfather for the first time.

Flair began his career as a wrestler after he dropped out of college. He started to train with Verne Gagner and started with AWA in 1972. Flair got recognized quickly because of his unique charismatic style in the ring.

During his early career, he defeated Dusty Rhodes, Larry Henning, and Andre the Giant. Flair joined the National Wrestling Alliance in 1994.

After a plane crash in 1975 doctors told Flair that they didn’t think that he could be able to pursue his wrestle career, but in only three months’ time, Flair was back in the ring. Ric Flair got a nickname that would last for a lifetime “The Nature Boy”.

In 1981 Flair won his first NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and in the following year, he defended the NWA World Title all around the world. Flair was crowned as the first-ever WCW  World Heavyweight Champion, and he joined the WWE in 1991.

He became a member of the stable evolution in wrestling. Flair won the Intercontinental and World Tag Team Championship in 2008. He got inducted into WWE’s Hall Of Fame, and after his loss against Shawn Michael the game received a Slammy Award of “The Match of the Year”.

Since then, Flair has made cameo appearances with WWE, and he joined TNA and got involved in various storylines from 2010-2012. He is respected by everyone in WWE.

Flair, who also goes by his nickname “The Nature Boy” first was introduced to the wrestling business when he met the legendary Vachon brothers.

Flair was actually a medical student at Minnesota University but dropped out of college to train for the mat. It was on December 10, 1972, when Flair made his professional debut in the wrestling ring opposite “Scrap Iron” George Gadaski.

He spent the first several months of his career with Gagne’s Minneapolis Boxing & Wrestling Club before he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he became a regular for Jim Crockett Promotions. In 1981, Ric won his first NWA World title. He has since enjoyed an extremely prolific wrestling career.
