Matt Sorum was born on 19th November 1960 in California. His birth name is Matthew William Sorum. At the age of 4, he started playing the drums after watching The Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr on The Ed Sullivan Show. In his high school, he was part of a band Mission Viejo.
