Her parents are Stacy (mother), a former news reporter and Donald Moore (father) who is a pilot.
Mandy Moore has a mix of English and Irish roots and is part Russian Jewish from her maternal side. She has two siblings, an older brother, Scott and a younger brother named Kyle.
Raised a Catholic, Mandy got her early education from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Florida which lasted from 1998 to 2002.
