After Jerry’s college studies, he showed a wide interest in comedy. He was interested in standup comedy. After completing his graduation in Queens College, he tried out at an open-microphone night at New York City’s Catch a Rising Star.

This led to an appearance in Rodney Dangerfield HBO special. In 1988, Seinfeld had also created The Seinfeld Chronicles with Larry David for NBC.

But later on, the show was given another name as Seinfeld. This process of rename was done for preventing confusion with the short-lived teen sitcom The Marshall Chronicles.

After ending up his sitcom, he returned to New York City to make a comeback with his stand-up comedy rather than staying in Los Angeles where he could continue his acting career.

In 2004, Seinfeld presented himself in two commercial webisodes which promote American Express which was titled as The Adventures of Seinfeld & Superman.

In the same year, on November 18, Seinfeld showed up at the National Museum of American History to donate the shirt he wore in the famous Seinfeld episode of the same name.

In 2006, May 13, he had a cameo appearance on Saturday Night Live as host Julia Louis-Dreyfus assassin.

In 2013, Seinfeld was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for the series. He was also reportedly working with rapper Wale on his album names “The Album About Nothing”.

In 2014, Seinfeld revealed that a Seinfeld project was in development, in which Alexander will play George Costanza alongside other Seinfeld characters in an interview.

During January 2017, it was announced that Seinfeld had signed an exclusive comedy deal with Netflix.

After dating a 17-year-old girl while he was in his late 30s, Jerry broke up a newlywed couple in the late 1990s so he could marry the lovely Jessica Sklar. The pair have been married for ten years and have three children.

Together they share a $50 million estate in East Hampton, a Manhattan apartment overlooking Central Park and a home in Telluride, Colorado.

When he’s not making his kids laugh, Jerry spends his free time tending a serious love of cars.
