Howard Michael Mandel is a comedian, actor, and television host. Hailing from Canada, he was born on November 29, 1955, in Toronto.
He started performing as a stand-up comedian when he was in high school. After he appeared at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, he became popular, which led him to perform a regular gig.
Mandel gained National Attention with the show St. Elsewhere.
He also made several movie appearances at the time which include “Gremlins,” “Gremlins 2: The New Batch”, “A Fine Mess,” “Walk Like A Man,” and “Maurice to name a few.
Mandel is also responsible for creating the animated series “Bobby’s World,” which ran for six years and also won an Emmy nomination.
