Early Life
Eddie Hall was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. In his teenage, Hall was a good swimmer and a Rugby player.
At the age of 15, he was expelled from Clayton High School and received home tuition. As a bodybuilder, he trained himself and competed at the Iceman gym in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, and entered the strongman circuit.
In 2010, Dave Meer was dropped out of England championship because of Injury. He trained Hall to take his place and competed in finals 2010 and won by half points.
Then in 2008, he began working as a mechanic in the garage at the Rober Wiseman Dairies site in Market Drayton, Shropshire. While working as a mechanic, he trained and competed as a bodybuilder and later entered the strongman circuit.
He entered England Championship in 2010, and he won this Championship in the first attempt by half a point.
According to his Wikipedia page, Eddie Hall weighs 186kg. Reports as recently as December 2020 claimed Hall was closer to 160kg, however, as he looks to shed weight ahead of his fight with Hafthor Bjornsson.

Hall won the UK’S Strongest man competition organized in 2011 at Belfast. In April 2012, Hall participated in Europe’s Strongest Man event where he competed with six finalists from the World strongest man 2011.
And ended up with 8th position. In 2014, Hall reached in Final for the first time, secured second in the Squat Lift, and finished with 6th.
Hall won the world record in deadlift of lifting 462 Kg in 2015 and broke his own record by lifting 463 Kg in the world deadlift championship.
Earlier in 2016, he made a world record at Arnold Classic Strongman in a long bar deadlift by lifting 465 kg. In July 2016, he again broke his own record of lifting 465kg by lifting 500 kg in a deadlift.
Also in 2017, hall won 2017 World’s Strongest Man and announced his retirement from world strongest man because of some health issues and returned to Lower-weight lifting competitions.
As an actor, he also made an appearance in the film Transformers: The Last Knight in 2017, and in 2018 he also appeared on the show on Channel 5 named ‘Celebs in Solitary.’ In that show, he attempted spending five days into solitary.
