Donald Trump Family, Early Life, Career, and Net worth 2020.
Donald Trump Family – Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States of America and a wildly successful businessman. Trump is now 72 years old and has built himself an incredible business empire.
It’s quite clear from looking at Donald Trump’s success story that he was always destined for greatness. He took over his father’s company and made it one of the largest conglomerates in the world.
Donald Trump was born on July 14th, 1946 in Queens, New York. Trump had 4 siblings, more than the average most of us have, and he attended school with them in Forest Hills at the Kew-Forest school.
The problem arose when he started having various difficulties at the school…
His parents decided that it would be best to send him to the New York Military Academy at the age of 13; hopefully to straighten him out a little and help him direct his energy in more of a positive way.
Trump was very much into sports, playing a mixture of football, soccer, and baseball. He eventually graduates in 1968 from the Wharton School of the University in Pennsylvania after previously being at Fordham University for two years.
The fourth of five children, Donald Trump’s parents were Frederick C. and Mary Anne MacLeod Trump. Frederick Trump was a builder and real estate developer who specialized in constructing and operating middle-income apartments in Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn.
Mary MacLeod immigrated from Tong, Scotland, in 1929 at the age of 17. She married Fred Trump in 1936, and the couple settled in Jamaica, Queens, a neighborhood that was, at the time, filled with Western European immigrants.
In the 1950s the Trumps’ wealth increased with the postwar real estate boom, and Mary became a New York socialite and philanthropist. Fred died in 1999, and Mary passed away the following year.
Maryanne Trump Barry
The oldest of Fred and Mary Anne Trump’s children is 82-year-old Maryanne Trump Barry, who retired as a federal judge in April.
Barry was married to John J. Barry, an attorney who counted his brother-in-law as one of his clients. He died of cancer in 2000. She has one child from a previous marriage to David Desmond.
Fred Trump Jr.
Perhaps the sibling President Donald Trump talks about the most is his older brother, Fred Jr., who died in 1981 at 43 from complications with alcoholism.
Fred Jr.’s early death has had a profound influence on Trump’s life, and he has said he never drinks because of it.
Elizabeth Trump Grau
Not much is known about Trump’s closest sister in age, Elizabeth Trump Grau, 77.
Like Trump, Elizabeth attended the private Kew-Forest School in Queens. For college, she attended Southern Virginia University in Buena Vista, Virginia (it was known as Southern Seminary College at the time).
Trump’s younger brother, Robert, 71, followed him into the family business, rising to become a top executive at the Trump Organization.
These days, he’s retired and living in Millbrook, New York, in the Hudson Valley.
Donald Trump’s career began at his father’s company ‘Elizabeth Trump and Son’, which was a company based in Brooklyn that focused on rental housing for the average Joe.
Whilst Trump was in college he undertook a project that involved refurbishing a property his dad had purchased. The property was an apartment complex in Cincinnati that after putting a $500,000 investment into the property, Trump was able to sell it for $6.75 million.
This was just over $1 million more than his dad had purchased it for back in 1962.
Donald Trump is now the 45th president of the United States of America. Many people are furious about the outcome of the election, and the future is certain, but the fact remains.
Donald Trump’s net worth in 2020 is estimated to be $2.1 billion, which is much lower than in previous years.
