Biography

Chris Cornell was born on July 20, 1964, in Seattle, Washington, the United States as Christopher John Boyle.

His parents are Edward F. Boyle, a pharmacist, and Karen Cornell, an accountant. He has three younger sisters, Katy Boyle, Suzy Boyle, and Maggie Boyle.

He has two older brothers as well namely, Patrick Boyle and Peter Boyle.

When he was 9 years old, he became a very big fan of the band, Beatles and would listen to them.

When he became 12, he tried the harmful stuff like alcohol, marijuana, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms and prescription drugs.

His parents’ divorced when he was in his teenage years. So he became the victim of depression when he was in his teens.

Then he dropped from school and would stay at home all the time.

He went to Christ the King Catholic elementary school, and Shorewood High School. He is a trained piano and guitar player.

Personal Life

Talking about his personal life, he was first hitched to Susan Silver, the administrator of Alice in Chains and Soundgarden.

They had a little girl, Lillian Jean, conceived in June 2000. He and Silver separated in 2004.

In 2004, he wedded Vicky Karayiannis, a Paris-based American marketing specialist of Greek legacy.

The couple had a little girl together, Toni, in September 2004, and a child, Christopher Nicholas, in December 2005.

Career

During his career, he worked as a dishwasher at an eatery named ‘Beam’s Boathouse’.
