The musician was born on October 28, 1972, in Glen Dale, West Virginia. Brad attended the John Marshall High School in his place of birth. Graduating in 1991, he moved on to the West Liberty State College in West Liberty, West Virginia.

Brad earned himself a fully paid scholarship that enabled him to further his studies at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business. Upon graduation, he immediately entered into a songwriting contract with EMI where he co-wrote songs that topped the Billboard country charts.

Personal Life

Brad was an only child born to Douglas Edward “Doug” Paisley and Sandra Jean Paisley.  His father Edward was a transportation worker while his mother was a teacher.

Brad credits his maternal grandfather Warren Jarvis for propelling him into music at a very young age. He bought Brad his first guitar at the age of eight and also taught him to play.

For a man that boasts impressive romantic lines in his songs, it comes as no surprise that he met with his wife in interesting circumstances.

In 1995, while still in another relationship, Brad took his then-girlfriend (name unknown) to the movies, where they saw the 1991 comedy – Father of the Bride where Kimberly Williams starred in. After seeing Kimberly on the big screen, Brad left the cinema with a lasting impression in his heart for her.

Career

Musically inclined, young Brad received his first guitar at the age of eight from his grandfather—a person who recognized & introduced him to country music.

At the age of 12, he captured the attention of the radio station’s program director in Wheeling, who asked him to perform on the live country music radio program called ‘Jamboree USA’.

Starting from the age of 12 till he was 20, he honed his act and vocal as a regular on the show.

He enrolled at Belmont University in Tennessee on a full ASCAP scholarship and majored in the music business. Afterward, he pursued his Bachelor of Business Administration degree at the Mike Curb School of Music Business.

Before he had graduated from John Marshall High School in 1991 & was the attendant of the West Liberty State College for two years.

Brad started dating the love of his life, actress Kimberly Williams in 2001, however, he had first seen Kimberly in 1991 movie, ‘Father of the Bride’, and felt an instant spark for her.

A decade later, the two were into a romantic relationship. Now, this Hollywood couple has been happily married for 15 amazing years. Throughout their married life, they have been raising two children, sons named William Huckleberry (born 2007) and Jasper Warren (born 2009).
